Why go to University?
Going to University is a big decision and often students aren't fully sure on the advantages of university. There are a lot of different reasons why people choose to go to university, including:
- Studying for a job they want in the future
- Increasing future earning potential (On average graduates will earn more than non-graduates)
- Meeting new people
- Having new opportunities
- Furthering their education in a topic
- Moving to a new place
- Learning new skills
University is a big change but it is also a good opportunity to learn more about the subjects you like for another three or four years and build up towards a job you want in the future. There are a lot of different subjects at University so there is something for everyone. To look at all the different courses here at the University of Bolton you can visit our subject pages.
