Where do the teams train?
Our competitive BUCS football teams are coached by Bolton Wanderers in the Community coaches. Training venues are at local all-weather pitches detailed in the booking information; transport is available. This is a great opportunity for our players to receive a high standard of coaching provision. There are also opportunities for our players to be invited onto elite coaching schemes for league club places. We also have access to female football training and club provision. Basketball and netball train and compete at Bolton One university sports hall. Cricket train indoors and outdoors at varying times of the year. Our hockey team train and play fixtures at the brand new facility at Bolton School Pavilion. We also have links with Bolton RUFC, www.boltonrugby.co.uk.
For more information on what our Sports Centre offers and our links with other facilities, please visit our sports and wellness page. Alternatively, you can contact us on 01204 903 172 or by emailing sportscentre@bolton.ac.uk.
