Biomedical and Medical Engineering

What skills will I learn on the Biomedical and Medical Biology courses?

The key concept of the Biomedical Engineering course is to give students a strong diverse understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge to allow them to bridge the gap between engineering and medicine. Through this course, you learn to combine problem-solving and design skills. The assessment layout varies between modules but is commonly made up of traditional examinations, group work, and practical assessments. This sets our students up to be able to comfortably adapt and develop within the profession once graduated.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
