What skills will I learn on a Dental Technology course?
Professionalism is a rich vein throughout the course as it is validated by the General Dental Council for professional registration. The three major disciplines are taught in great detail providing you with the opportunity to develop excellent practical skills. The work-based modules enable you to develop essential employability skills and behaviours critical to being successful in this career choice.
You will learn transferable skills for the Dental Technology sector specifically, which can also be utilised across a wide range of industries. This will be underpinned by your theoretical knowledge from taught and independent study, as well as the volunteering experience from your work placement and mentors.
If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Dental Technology Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Dental Technology subject area.
You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.
Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.
Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
