Computing

What skills will I learn on a Computing course?

You will learn transferable skills for the Computing sector, which can also be utilised across a wide range of software, data, cyber industries, and more. This will be underpinned by your theoretical knowledge from taught and independent study, as well as the experience from your work placement if you choose. Specific skills will be dependent on the course you choose, please see the course page for details.

We also teach aspects of professional practice, time management, adaptability, confidence, resilience, interview skills, and many more.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Computing Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Computing subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
