What is available at the University of Bolton Sports Centre?

The University of Bolton Sport & Wellness Centre houses a 50-ft indoor climbing wall, a four-court sports hall and academic research facilities. We have climbing clubs for beginners and experienced climbers. The Sports Centre also provides students with a range of sports clubs, activities and health services and the centre is open to students, staff and the general public.

Outdoor Adventures at the Anderton Centre via UOB Sport & Wellness Centre

Come and enjoy this wonderful outdoor adventure centre whilst studying at the University of Bolton, activities include:

Water based activities:

  • Raft Building
  • Paddle Boarding
  • Canoeing
  • Powerboating

Land based activities:

  • Abseiling /Rock Climbing /Boulder Wall
  • Archery
  • Bushcraft
  • Camping/Expedition & Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)
  • Fell Walking / Orienteering
  • Low Ropes / High Ropes / Leap of Faith
  • Problem Solving / Team Building
