Education and Teacher Training

What are the lectures structured like in terms of practical and written assignments for PGCE 14+?

Teacher training is a mixture of theoretical and practical assessments, practical observations of teaching practice and feedback from your placement(s). Each pathway will be slightly different, you will need to contact a Programme Leader or visit an Open Day, or visit the teaching and assessment tab of the course page to understand more about how Education and Teacher Training is structured.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) courses, then you can contact the Education and Teacher Training Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Education and Teacher Training subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
