Should I apply to the University of Bolton before I take a gap year?
We understand some students wish to take a gap year before settling down to study and we advise you to apply for the intake you would like to be considered for. Course content can change from year-to-year to ensure it stays current and to make you as employable as possible. To find out more about our courses and to ensure the course you are considering is the right course for you, please visit our subject areas page. If you have already applied but would like to defer, please email your request to admissions-team@bolton.ac.uk giving your provisional student ID or UCAS personal ID.
You can find out more about our application and admissions processes at our application and admissions page. Alternatively, you can call us on 01204 903 394 or email admissions@bolton.ac.uk.
You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.
Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.
Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
