Transfers

I am currently studying at another university; can I transfer to the University of Bolton?

We welcome transfers from other Universities and take great pride in providing a quality, supportive learning environment for our students.

You will normally transfer to something very similar to your current programme of study. Please find your chosen course via our Subject Areas page. The programme leader for your course will be listed near the bottom of the page, along with their contact details. You may wish to contact them about your eligibility for the course prior to submitting your application.

When you apply, please make sure you send us copies of all your qualifications. This must include a transcript that details the results of your studies at your current University, including module descriptions and grades. This information can then be considered by the relevant academic admissions tutor, they will assess if a transfer is possible and where you would map on to our degree.

You can find out more about our application and admissions processes at our Application and Admissions page. Alternatively, you can call us on 01204 903 394 or email ugadmissions@bolton.ac.uk.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.

What is #UniAsItShouldBe? A University that puts its students and their needs first through a supportive learning environment. Welcome to the University of Bolton.
