How many UCAS points are required for Art & Design and Fine Art courses?
Art & Design and Fine Art courses require 96 UCAS points for the 3-year degree programme, which can also be studied part-time over 4.5 years, for a foundation year you will require 48 UCAS points or equivalent.
You should have a keen interest in communication, design, and the creative industries and processes, or experience in this field which you are able to demonstrate through a portfolio. There is no specific format to a portfolio, however, you could see our other FAQ resources for guidance, or contact a Programme Leader for further information.
Depending on your experience we may consider your application without the above qualifications or UCAS tariff points if you have considerable experience in this area.
If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Art & Design and Fine Art Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Art & Design and Fine Art subject area.
You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.
Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.
Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
