Helping students learn to budget
Managing finances at university can be a challenge – set your students on the right path by helping introduce them to budget planners and other ways to manage their finances.
Some forward planning now will help them gain confidence in understanding budgeting on a termly, weekly, or monthly basis. This helps avoid students having big overdrafts to repay or being stuck for money halfway through the year.
The planner provides a look at university costs students need to budget for and how to balance these against the money they have coming in. It also has a few hints and tips on how best to manage their finances.
Download the UCAS student budget planner for a good budget planner and more tips on saving for university.
Or advise them to book one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more about the courses, chat with our students and speak to tutors about life at the University of Bolton.
What is #UniAsItShouldBe? A University that puts its students and their needs first through a supportive learning environment. Welcome to the University of Bolton.
