Can I arrange a mock interview before my real job interview?
Yes, you can arrange to see a Careers Adviser who will undertake interview practice with you before your real interview takes place. They will try and replicate your real job interview using the job description you will have received. You need to allow at least an hour for a mock interview. If you would benefit from having the interview filmed, then please do let us know.
Please ensure you allow plenty of time to book an appointment for a mock interview as we can’t always see people on demand!
This process will help you to practice your responses to interview questions in advance, and the Careers Adviser will provide you with constructive feedback based on their knowledge.
We also have practice Interview360 software via Student Hub which can be accessed here: https://studenthub.bolton.ac.uk this allows you to practice your interview skills at home, if you are unable to make a face to face appointment.
