Computing

Are there any work placements on Computing courses?

Work placements are part of the Computing Sandwich course, which allows you to take a year placement as part of your degree. This is important to allow you to apply your skills and theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios alongside your studies, and enhances your practice in the final year. The rest of your time you will be studying in taught classes or independently.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Computing Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Computing subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
