Motorsport and Automotive Performance Engineering courses require 96 UCAS points for the 3-year degree programmes and 48 UCAS points for the 4-year foundation route.
You should have a keen interest in mechanics, engineering, motorsport, attention to detail, or relevant fields or experience. Depending on your experience we may consider your application without the exact UCAS tariff points if you have considerable experience or alternative qualifications in this area.
We also require GCSE grades at C/4 or above in 5 subjects including mathematics and science, and GCSE at C/4 or above in English would be beneficial.
In terms of entry qualifications, maths and physics A-levels or an engineering-related BTEC is favourable, however, we will accept other qualifications subject to the UCAS and GCSE requirements above.
If you do not meet the entry requirements you may need to submit a portfolio and/or interview depending on your background and we may consider your application without the above qualifications if you have considerable experience in this area or alternative qualifications.
If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Motorsport and Automotive Performance Engineering Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Motorsport and Automotive Performance Engineering subject area.
Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.
