Medical Biology

How many UCAS points are required for Medical Biology courses?

BSc Medical Biology courses require 96 UCAS points for the 3-year degree programme, an FdSc route requires 48 UCS points, and applications for a top-up course typically require 240 Higher Education credits by your previous study which you can evidence by your study transcripts and experience.

In some instances, applications without the required UCAS points may be considered if you have a range of previous academic development and experience. Specifically, we are looking for science-based subjects, with Mathematics and English qualifications. As a practical-based course, we are also very keen to welcome applications from artistic subjects. Additionally, dental care professionals wanting to change roles within the dental team are encouraged to apply.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Dental Technology Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Medical Biology subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
