Graphic Design

Is there a place where I can work on my Graphic Design projects outside of lecture times?

Yes, we have ample room in our light and airy studios, as well as materials and tools that you will find useful to develop your work. Self-directed study can be done in the studios, and there is plenty of room to work at larger scales and expand on skills you have learned in workshops or independently. You can have use of the studios Monday to Thursday from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm and you are welcome to use any free machine during the day, just check with the tutor whose class you are sitting in with and make note of the current procedures during COVID-19.

The library or Social Learning Zone (SLZ) are usually available to work on research or academic writing, however, access is limited due to COVID-19. There is a wide range of digital resources and journals available via Moodle and your student portal. For recommendations please see your recommended reading list.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Graphic Design Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Graphic Design subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
