Education and Teacher Training

What skills will I learn on the Education and Learning course?

The key concept of the Education and Learning course is to give students a strong diverse understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge that prepares you for working life in the classroom. The range of different modules prepares students to develop within the field of Education and uses diverse assessment methods to make students comfortable with all the different tasks they could be set in the professional environment.

In addition, as a graduate, you’ll possess generic skills that are highly sought-after in a wide range of sectors, such as communication skills, providing evidence-based written and spoken arguments, ICT, research and analytical skills, problem-solving, and self-management.

If you have any other enquiries regarding this course you can contact the Education Team to discuss these further. Their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching for the subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
