What are the English language or IELTS requirements?

If you are applying from a country where your education is not taught in the English language, then a suitable English language qualification is required for the following reasons:

To enable you to understand and communicate with your lecturers
To make your life in the UK as a student easier
To enable your ability to perform well in written assessments, examinations and discussions
