Visual FX

What types of assessments will I have in Visual FX courses?

Assessments differ on each Visual FX course, though the key factor in your assessment could be that your projects support your academic justifications. Other assessments may require you to create a practical piece of work, 3D models, characters or environments, prototypes, or sets and props for example. Some modules require reports, either in written format or video format. You may also be required to take part in in-class presentations, group work, and exams.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Visual FX Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Visual FX subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
