Games

What types of assessments will I have in Games courses?

Most assessments on the Games courses involve creating a practical piece of work. For Games Art this is usually in the form of a 3D model, character, or environment. For Games Design and Programming, this is usually the creation of a prototype or game. Some modules require reports, either in written format or video format. You may also be required to take part in in-class presentations, group work, and exams.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Games Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Games subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
