What happens if I do not get offered a place on an Electrical and Electronic Engineering course?

If you do not meet the entry requirements, have a portfolio, or experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field, then a foundation year may be offered instead.

If you do not get offered a place on an Electrical and Electronic Engineering course, then we would recommend you get in contact with the Programme Leader who will be able to discuss the best options for you. Please see our other FAQ's and resources about foundation years, entry requirements and transfers for more details too.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
