Medical Biology

Is there a place where I can work on my Medical Biology projects outside of lecture times?

Medical Biology has access to the clinical suites and laboratories, the library, and Social Learning Zone (SLZ). Work placements may also offer areas for you to conduct your studies in another professional environment, though this is not generally required until the final year (project). At this point, students are given access to the laboratories outside of their standard timetable.

The library is open 24/7, though access may be restricted due to COVID-19 measures, please contact the library directly for opening times, you can get in touch by the Library Chat service.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Medical Biology Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Medical Biology subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
