Health and Social Care

Is there a place where I can work on my Health and Social Care projects outside of lecture times?

Much of your learning and implementing your theoretical knowledge will be done during your work placement(s), however, the library and Social Learning Zone (SLZ) are usually available to work on research or academic writing. Please note that access to facilities will be limited due to COVID-19.

There are a wide range of digital resources and journals available via Moodle and your student portal. For recommendations please see your recommended reading list, search the FAQ's or contact one of the Health and Social Care Team.

For all the details on the specific Health and Social Care courses or if you have any other enquiries relating to this please visit the Health and Social Care subject area, you will also find contact details of the Health and Social Care Team if would like to speak to them directly.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
