Health and Social Care

I would like to know more about Health and Social Care courses.

Thank you for enquiring about the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. At the University of Bolton, we pride ourselves on our student-focused approach to learning, supporting your career ambitions, and preparing you for graduate employment. Quite simply, we ensure you enjoy your time at University; through quality teaching, passionate lecturers, supportive environments, and great facilities.

Health and Social Care is a vast service sector providing support to people who are vulnerable, such as children, older people and adults with disabilities or mental health issues. Our Health and Social Care Courses offer you the opportunity to develop the values, skills, and knowledge essential to good health and social care practice, opening the door to a huge range of rewarding employment opportunities.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.

Balancing policy, practice and academic training, our courses are strongly linked to the UK government’s ever-evolving agendas to sustain and improve the nation's health and social care. Preparing you for your future role within a continually developing and critical sector.
