Paramedic Science

Are there any work placements or industry involvement on Paramedic Science courses?

Yes, Paramedic Science courses are based on theory and practice, and you will be expected to go out into practice to learn new skills and gain practical experience of using your theoretical skills.

There are no planned or scheduled trips, however, opportunities may arise during the course which you would be invited to which would supplement your learning.

Your preferred location for work placement will be taken into consideration, however, this cannot be guaranteed due to the number of places available in each location. Please ensure to make a note of your preferred location (if applicable) when making your application and it will be accommodated whenever possible.

If you have any enquiries relating to this you can contact the Paramedic Sciences Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the Nursing and Midwifery course page which you can find from the Paramedic Science course page.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
