Media and Photography

Are there any work placements on Media and Photography courses?

Work placements are part of the Media and Photography course and are important to allow you to apply your skills and theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. There are opportunities to get involved in live projects or competitions with companies and we encourage students to source work placement opportunities. Where practicable, we often exhibit our work at national and international events, participating in competition briefs in charitable and commercial sectors too, so having a selection of a portfolio of work or transferable skills to work on new briefs could be advantageous.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Media and Photography Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Media and Photography subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
