Are there any group trips or industry involvement on Sports Development and Coaching courses?
Yes, Sports Development and Coaching students have regular industry involvement throughout the course, such as visiting lecturers and during practice-based experience, placements and field trips. Previously, our students have visited the Anderton Outdoor Activity Centre, St Georges Park, Adidas HQ and had the opportunity to attend international field trips, see the list of local sports attractions here.
Where possible, group trips are organised for both social and industry events, conferences and activities. Our students are often active to seek opportunities for professional development and to network, and there are activities scheduled by students and the Students Union that may be of interest.
If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Sports Development and Coaching Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Sports Development and Coaching subject area.
You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.
Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.
Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
