Is there a place where I can work on my Electrical and Electronic Engineering projects outside of lecture times?

Electrical and Electronic Engineering have access to the design labs, computer suites and large scale printing facilties, as well as a dedicated room in the library containing higher specification PCs for students from Creative Technologies courses.

The library and the Social Learning Zone (SLZ) are usually available to work on research or academic writing, however, access is limited due to COVID-19. There are a wide range of digital resources and journals available via Moodle and your student portal. For recommendations please see your recommended reading list or contact a Programme Leader or tutor.

If you have any other enquiries relating to this you can contact the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Team to discuss, their contact details can be found at the bottom of the specific course page by searching the Electrical and Electronic Engineering subject area.

You can also chat with our staff directly every Wednesday from 2 pm - 4 pm and periodically throughout the working week.

Alternatively, chat with our current students who will be able to share this information with you and any other course-related queries.

Or book onto one of our Open Days or Course Advice Days to find out more and speak with the team.
