How many UCAS points are required for Nursing and Midwifery courses?
Nursing courses require 104 UCAS points and Midwifery courses require 112 UCAS points for the 3-year degree programmes. These are full-time courses and there are no part-time options available. One of your level 3 qualifications must be in a Biology or Health and Social area, and you will require Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (such as GCSE or Functional Skills, or equivalent).
You should have a keen interest in health and social topics, helping others, caring and attention to detail, depending on your experience we may consider your application without the exact UCAS tariff points if you have considerable experience in this area.
In this case, you may be eligible for the Fast-Track to Nursing and Midwifery course prior to your Undergraduate degree course, however, you will still require English and Maths at Level 2, and it is worth contacting the Programme Leader to discuss your eligibility for this route. If you do not have Maths or English at level 2 then you could consider a Functional Skills course at our partners Bolton College.
