The Motorsport and Automotive Performance Engineering courses are written in collaboration with elite industry and specialists to ensure you gain the theoretical and practical skills needed to succeed in this industry, and transferable skills to other industries if you wish.
With this collaboration, we also get access to staff and facilities for tours, guest lectures and exciting live projects that allow you the opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and creativity to develop for the industry. Working closely with Motorsport and Engineering sectors is a critical factor in the plans here.

Motorsport is a competitive and difficult field to succeed in and we work really hard to ensure we have as many opportunities available internally. The external opportunities we secure cannot be guaranteed, however, there are normally ample opportunities for students to volunteer for experience and your personal tutors will be happy to guide you on where to find them.
We also offer a comprehensive employability support programme alongside our Careers Team to get you ready to apply for placements with externals, and our tutors are always happy to support our students' development for careers in this area.
